Okay, when is it appropriate to say, "cheers!"? and how long before I feel as though I have earned the right to use it (and not sound like a silly poser)?

Mike, so far you are batting 1000 (ha ha) with me as your comments are so true. I bet your sister could put on a very good accent (accent pronounced with an eastern European twist) and if she worked at it, the chaps in the pubs could be duped. Bunny
